I created the T-shirt merchandise design for the 5th anniversary live concert “GREEN LIGHT” by singer-songwriter milet. The design reinterprets motifs associated with milet, expressed through a soft, feminine color palette and decorative composition, forming a series of symbolic visuals. [Butterfly] The monarch butterfly, also found in Canada, is known for its breathtaking overwintering scenes where countless butterflies gather and fill the sky. This imagery overlaps with fans drawn to milet’s voice, leading to the vision of a mystical figure adorned with butterflies. [Deer] Inspired by the clarity and fluidity of her voice, I imagined a young deer running lightly and freely. Referencing the sacred deer, a divine messenger, it is portrayed as a unique being that travels across fields, sky, and sea—an existence that transcends boundaries. [Phoenix] From the far-reaching quality of her voice, I developed the image of a bird soaring into the sky. Reimagined from the phoenix as a bird

I created the album artwork and a short music video for the Spanish music artist L’Hain. Based on the color palette proposed by the artist and a concept centered on “love,” the visuals were developed to reflect this theme. In this work, “love” does not refer to personal relationships, but rather to the community formed by fans who are instinctively drawn to the artist’s work. This relationship is represented through the metaphor of a herd of animals— fluid and ever-changing—contrasted with the artist as a central, unwavering presence. The artist is symbolized as a lion, representing a powerful and enduring figure at the core of the community. The visual world expands beyond Earth into a cosmic scale, suggesting a universe that reaches far into space while still connected to our planet. The visuals were applied not only to the album artwork, but also extended to record designs and merchandise such as T-shirts.

Key Visual for the Stage Production “Silent Voice” I created the key visual for the stage production “Silent Voice.” Inspired by a realistic script based on true events, this work explores an abstract representation of a tragic character. The character’s sharp gaze toward society and distorted expression are symbolized through the eyes and curved beak of a bird of prey, reflecting the aggression and isolation that lie beneath the surface. The pressure from society and the accumulation of emotions are visualized through the imagery of heavy rain and water, creating a sense of tension as the narrative moves toward an inevitable conclusion. I also designed the stage background visuals, developing a unified visual world throughout the production. The performance premiered on July 31, 2024.

I designed and developed a web portfolio for artist Yume Aoyama. While working freely with the artist’s original works, I created a colorful, playful, and picture book–like visual style. By carefully using whitespace and layout, the design highlights each artwork prominently, while also incorporating pages composed solely of reinterpreted visuals to create a cohesive and narrative-driven experience throughout the portfolio.

Based on a request to express the title as directly as possible, the design incorporates elements of strangeness and chaos found in the author’s work. It is built around a unique balance of seriousness and playfulness. The visual combines glass-based collage with flat graphic elements. Published on August 6, 2024.
